Homecoming royalty finalists announced
Finalists of the Chadron State College homecoming royalty competition were announced during the spirit rally at the Student Center on Thursday
The top five vote-getters for queen are Mariah Cook of Parker, Colo., Kelsey Gregory of Bayard, Ashley Maxon of Laurel, Lacey Preator of Greybull, Wyo., and Emily Vanis of Elgin.
The finalists for king are Jordan Haas of Hemingford, Jovan Mays of Aurora, Colo., Adam Rasmussen of Mead, Alex Rodriguez of Carolina, Puerto Rico, and Jake Runyan of Ainsworth.
The king, queen and their court will be announced during halftime of the Eagles’ football game against New Mexico Highlands at Elliott Field on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
